End of Football

Well, football season has ended for us. Jon had a fun time playing and making new friends. The banquet was last night. He got a scholar award. We are so proud of him. Great job Jon.

Well my baby turned 12 today. I can't believe how big he is. He has come such a long way from where he was. He is great at the computers and loves to play games.

Happy Birthday Jon

Jon turned 14 yesterday. He is such a sweet young man. He loves almost any sports. He is such a joy to have in our family. He keeps us laughing and on our toes. We love you Jon.

17 Years and Counting

Well last Sunday, we hit 17 years of marriage. It is hard to believe that it has been that long. Well I guess it has with two children and the oldest is going to High School and the other is going into 6th grade. We love watching all the accomplishments that each of us do and what the boys do.

Well has most of you heard, California had a earth quake on July 29th. This was the boys first one that they have felt. Jon did great and Bryan was a little scared but they made it through. I was so proud of both of them.

Mid Summer

Jon is almost done with the summer part of football. He is still having fun. They have started working on different plays with the kids. He tells me that if one person messes up they have to do the play all over. He doesn't like that, so he tries to do his best. Bryan is still helping his Grandpa Gates and loving it. Grandpa and him are going to start working on a computer desk for me so I can get the computer off the dinning room table. Kevin is still working hard with work. I have a new job. The girl I usually cover for her lunch quit and they asked me to take over her job. I am working from 9am - 3pm. This is great for me. I still get to see Jon's football games and be at home to help with homework.

Summer is in full swing. Jon is playing football for VHS. He is having a blast. Bryan is helping his grandpa doing some work around his house. His grandpa is creating a monster. Bryan is learning to repair benches, and doing most of the yard work.
